Oregon Lightning Announce Open Tryouts
Bend, OR – Sept. 3, 2025 — The Oregon Lightning professional arena football team is excited to announce open tryouts for the upcoming season. The tryouts will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024 in Bend, Oregon (time and venue to be announced).
The Lightning are seeking talented and dedicated athletes who are ready to compete at a professional level. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of the team’s coaching staff, who are committed to building a fast, competitive, and dynamic roster for the season ahead.
“Our goal is to give players a real shot at pursuing their football dreams,” said HC Chuck Jones “We know there’s a lot of untapped talent in Oregon and beyond, and this is the chance for those athletes to prove themselves and potentially wear the Lightning uniform.”
Interested players are encouraged to register early as space will be limited. Full details on location, time, and registration requirements will be released in the coming weeks.
