Storm Falls Short in Season Opener

On Saturday the Oregon High Desert Storm traveled to Idaho to face the defending Champs the Idaho Horsemen. The Horsemen came out firing with 2 consecutive Touchdown to take a 12-0 lead.  The Horsemen took a 20 point lead into halftime 38-18. In the 2nd half, the Storms defense made a few adjustments and held the  Horsemen's offense to only 8 points. After a few miscues by the Horsemen, Storm's RB #5 Caleb Stennis scores a TD with 4:59 on the clock. After a fumble by Idaho on the 1 yard line, Stennis scores on 1 yard TD Run cutting the lead to two (44-46) with 2:51 left in the game. The Storm had a chance to tie the game up but  QB #11 William Crest Jr. was sacked on the failed 2-point conversion.

The Storm will travel to Yakima to face the Canines on May
