Oregon Lightning Make Major Offseason Moves, Bolster Offensive Firepower and Defensive Depth

REDMOND, OR – The Oregon Lightning lit up the offseason with a massive week of signings, adding top-tier talent and bringing back key playmakers for the upcoming arena football season.

Headlining the week’s announcements is the return of wide receiver Maurice Ashley, a fan favorite known for his explosive speed and highlight-reel catches. Ashley’s leadership and experience will once again anchor the Lightning offense.

The Lightning also welcome wide receiver Trevor Hensley out of Milligan University, bringing fresh talent and versatility to the receiving corps. Joining him is defensive back Wan Crockett from the Hot Springs Wise Guys, a proven ball hawk who’s ready to bring energy and intensity to the Lightning secondary.

Adding even more offensive firepower, Oregon has signed wide receiver Jamon Langford, who most recently played with the Omaha Beef. Langford’s combination of size, athleticism, and arena experience makes him a dangerous addition to the Lightning’s high-tempo offense.

Rounding out the week’s signings is the highly anticipated return of wide receiver Kris Lewis, a standout not only for the Oregon Lightning but across the entire league. Lewis’ elite athleticism and playmaking ability have made him a household name among fans and opponents alike.
